The Challenge
Filmed one summer night in Greece, New Worlds: The Cradle of Civilization, captures Bill Murray, Jan Vogler and Friend's final performance of their European "New Worlds" tour. The film is a wonderful ode to life and I worked with director, Andrew Muscato, to develop a style wrapper around the project that tonally reflected the gravitas of the musical performances as well as the wry wit of Bill Murray himself, who would go on to personally approve my work.
Film Title & Motion
Sequence Design
As a nod to the Acropolis theater in Athens where the film was shot, I designed a type treatment that felt like it had the character and solidity of an ancient structure, but with a clean, modern twist. In addition to designing the film title used across all marketing materials, I also animated the title sequence used in the film, along with title motion to introduce the cast as well.

Alluding to celebrity charicatures from the golden age of Hollywood, I illustrated and designed a film poster with a sense of elegant simplicty that aimed to perfectly capture Bill's essence with an economy of lines. The poster would be used prominently at the film's premiere at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival. The film poster premiere was also featured in a Collider article

Additional Press
My work was featured prominently on Bill Murray's press tour on Good Day NY and CBS Mornings.
