The Challenge

Started in 2018, Stun Love is my music project with long-time collaborator Jon Merkin (The Shake). Tuneful melodies and harmonies layer over deep dark, grooves that draw from our New York roots. I act as both cheif songwriter as well as Creative Director of the group, crafting our visual aesthetic and content across multiple platforms for every music launch.

"Sit A Little Low"
Single + Video

Sit A Little Low takes you on a journey through a psychedelic flower world and brings the song's infectious energy to life through AI-generated visuals and cinematic compositing that capturing the spirit of Spring, friendship, and adventure.

"Closing In"
Single + Video

Closing In reimagines the band as a Beatles-inspired act during the Ed Sullivan era, pairing nostalgic black-and-white visuals with playful performances. Created with Midjourney, Gemini, and extensive After Effects compositing, the video reinforces the song's message of choosing love over cynicism.

"Floating Away"
Single + Video

Floating Away explores connection and separation through the metaphor of two animated birds drifting across a vibrant cloudscape. It became my most ambitious AI-driven music video to date and created with Midjourney, Gemini, Higgsfield, Photoshop, and extensive After Effects compositing.

"Read Me All Wrong"
Single + Video

Read Me All Wrong throws the band into a gritty urban landscape inspired by the raw energy of early '90s CBGBs. Created entirely with Higgsfield AI, Photoshop, and extensive After Effects compositing, not a single shot was filmed practically.

"For Your Eyes"
Single + Video

For Your Eyes explores our reliance on technology by immersing the band in a sensory overload of psychedelic worlds, where every frame feels digitally constructed. Created with green screen production and extensive After Effects animation, the video was crafted entirely without AI.

The single "For Your Eyes" dropped in early 2021. To celebrate, I created a full animated music video that takes your eyes on a visual voyage - exploring color, motion and depth in a 2-D/3-D style space that grabs your attention at every turn.

In 2018, our first EP dropped across all streaming services along with a continuously looping motion teaser set to our song "London Ride" and a cover art set that took inspiration from old World War bomber route photography.
